Adult and Older Adult Neuropsychological Assessment

Neuropsychological assessment involves a thorough evaluation of an individual's cognitive, psychological, and behavioural well-being. This comprehensive assessment involves an in-depth interview about symptoms and relevant history as well as the administration of standardised cognitive tasks to assess areas such as attention, memory, language and problem solving.

Following this a report is provided which includes a comprehensive overview of an individual's cognitive, emotional, and behavioural functioning, offering insights into their strengths, challenges, and diagnoses or recommendations for treatment.

Neuropsychological Assessment usually involves three sessions: a clinical interview (around 1 hour), an assessment session (typically 3 hours) and a follow-up session to discuss the assessment findings and any recommendations (around 1 hour). At The Neuropsychology Practice we tailor assessments to address your specific needs
